National Newspaper Olympiad is an aspiring initiative by NNO COMMITTEE with the simple motto"Read newspaper, gain knowledge." We have about 800 campus ambassadors and co-ordinators from 8 divisions of Bangladesh. This initiative is for the people that care enough about the day-to-day events all around the world. Our generation is becoming oblivious of the very old-but-gold window of the World- newspaper. NNO looks forward to giving the reading newspaper a meaning to the students so that they become interested to find out the true beauty of a black and white paper which contains information that is colorful. 8 divisional rounds and a national round will select the best of the nerds among hundreds. 32 workshops in 32 districts will be arranged for the students and people of all ages. more than 2000 institutions are targeted for this Olympiad. NNO serves to achieve a greater goal. Our plan is to reach millions of people. We want people to realize that newspaper

কয়েকদিন ধরে মায়ের কাছে জেদ ধরেছে সজিব সিংহ।এবার সে রসেয়া দ্বিমুখী উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষাসফরে যাবে,এবং বন্ধুদের নতুন কিছু করে চমকে দেবে সবাইকে।মা অবশ্য না করেনি,ছেলে যে বায়না ধরেছে। বাবা মায়ের একমাত্র ছেলে তাই মা ও বাধা দেয়নি,কিন্তু বাবার কড়া নিষেধাজ্ঞা। কালকে সজিবের শিক্ষাসফর বাবাকে সজিব কোনোরকমে রাজি করিয়েছে। সকাল সকাল অন্য আট দশটা ছেলের মতই সজিব এসেছে পিকনিকে, বাবার কথা উপেক্ষা করে। মায়ের মনে কিছু একটা ভয় ছিল, তাইতো বারবার ছেলের দিকে তাকিয়ে তার যাওয়ার দিকেই তাকিয়ে ছিল মা। মায়ের মনে অজানা আশংঙ্খা কাকে বলবে সে কথা? ছেলে যে পিকনিকে যেতে নাছোড়বান্দা । সজিব অন্য আট দশটা ছেলের মতোই স্কুল মাঠে চলে এসেছে,বন্ধুদের সাথে পিকনিকে যাবে বলে। আহা কত বন্ধু, কত মানুষের সমাগম, সজিবের দেখেই প্রাণ খুলে গেলো। স্কুলে তার এইবারে প্রথম শিক্ষা সফর,ভাবতেই কিছুটা আহ্লাদী হেসে উঠে সজিব। শিক্ষাসফরে নতুন জ্ঞান অন্বেষণ করতে এসেছে যে। বন্ধুদের প্রাচীরের এক কোণে দেখে সজিব কিছুটা এগিয়ে গেলো। বন্ধুদের সে বড্ড ভালোবাসে, বন্ধুরাই তার প্রাণ, বন্ধুদের পেলেই কেমন জানি একটা প্রশান্তি ফিরে পায়। সজিব সবসময় একটু কম কথা
